Abstract
We describe a ruptured cyst of benign ovarian teratomas mimicking gynaecolo gical malignancy in a 40-year old woman. A staging laparotomy the peritoneu m and omentum were clinically suspected for metastases, Frozen-section exam ination showed benign cystic teratomas of both ovaries and chronic-sclerosi ng peritonitis but no evidence of malignancy.
