Abstract
Association phenomena of the ternary systems dimethylsulfoxide (DMSO)/n-hep tanol (H) non-polar solvent, octane have been studied in the frequency rang e 0.200-16 Ghz. The study indicates that although DMSO is an unassociated m olecule yet it is associated with n-heptanol. It gives bigger clusters with longer relaxation times, as compared with those corresponding to concentra tions of n-heptanol in octane. The relaxation times increase with the incre ase of DMSO content.
