Seven new species are described from localities on both the north and
south coasts of Cuba: Cyathura (Cyathura) esquivel, Mesanthura frances
, Joeropsis juvenilis, Joeropsis unidentata, Dynamenella nuevitas, Par
aimene ibarzabalae, Paraimene tumulus. Several new records, including
Carpias harietae, Caecijaera horvathi, and Sphaeromopsis mourei are no
ted. The material was collected from a range of habitats, including sh
allow coral reefs, mangroves, seagrass beds, coastal lagoons, river mo
uths, rocky and sandy shore inter-/and shallow infratidal areas.
