To comply with future regulations, water utilities will need to anticipate and Strategically plan for upcoming regulatory reguirements. Existing regul ations set by the US Environmental Protection Agency under the Safe Drinkin g Water Act have been previously reviewed. This article reviews current reg ulatory trends that water utilities should consider in strategic planning s o that they can comply with new rules within the required time frames.
