Abstract
[(p-Sulfonamidophenyl) ate] malononitrile and/or [(p-sulfonamidophenyl) ate ] acrylonitrile derivatives react with various reagents to afford pyrimidin e, pyrazole, isooxazole and pyridazine derivatives with interesting biologi cal activities via initial addition to either the cyano or amino group foll owed by cyclization.
