Abstract
Genotoxic effects of nickel were assessed on Hordeum vulgare. Morphological parameters were found to be affected generally with the increase in NiSO4 dose. Chlorophyll and protein percentage increased with increase in dose up to 4 mM, showing a sudden fall thereafter. Cell division was stimulated at I mM; mitodepression and increased percentage of aberrant cells was observe d thereafter.
