Abstract
An extended Hubbard model is used to investigate the conditions for the exi stence and the stability of a spin-density-wave (SDW) antiferromagnetic (AF M) state with lattice distortion in a system with a chemically-induced char ge density wave (CDW). An antiferromagnet-paramagnet first-order phase tran sition is found.
