Abstract
After screening various thiols in succession, hexose thiols were found to be able to induce abnormal cycloaromatization of the protein bound neocarzinostatin chromophore. Evidence is provided that such abnormal cycloaromatization is neither due to dissociation of the chromophore nor from changes of binding conformation. (C) 1997 Elsevier Science Lt d.
