Abstract
Cyclic amino acids derived from the tropane alkaloid nucleus have been prepared and incorporated into synthetic peptides. These conformation ally constrained beta-amino acids hold considerable potential for use in the development of novel, synthetic analogues of biologically activ e peptides.
