Abstract
Gemella morbillorum is mostly involved in subacute endocarditis in elderly patients with an underlying valve disease. We report a case of endocarditis in a young immunocompetent adult, with a major perforation of the native a ortic valve conducting to an immediate surgical replacement, Other infectio ns due to Gemella morbillorum are reviewed.
