Abstract
Image parametric amplification and its applications are summarized. Th e link between resolution and phase matching is presented. Then applic ations to ultrafast imaging and imaging through diffusing media are gi ven. Last, degenerate schemes are proved to permit polychromatic ampli fication as well as phase-sensitive amplification.
