Abstract
In the solid solution YbCu5-xAgx the variation of the physical properties c an be ascribed by a volume change due to the Cu/Ag substitution which is eq uivalent to external pressure. The characteristic temperature determining t he physical properties drops down from T-0 approximate to 160 K for x = 1 t o 25 K for x = 0. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
