Abstract
We report investigations under pressure (P) of the resistivity (rho) and th e thermopower (S) of YbInAu2, YbCu2Si2, YbCuAl and YbSi. Magnetic ordering can be induced by P in YbCu2Si2, like in YbCuAl, whereas for YbSi a gap at low temperature opens. The crystal held effect could be responsible for the sign change of S at low temperature. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science B.V. All ri ghts reserved.
