We report the results of Eu-153 nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) measuremen
ts of EuB6 at low temperatures. The Eu-153-NMR spectra suggest that at temp
eratures well below the Curie temperature, two inequivalent but very simila
r magnetic phases coexist in EuB6. This phenomenon is not apparent in the m
acroscopic properties of the compound, except some anomalous temperature de
pendence of the specific heat Cp(T) below 5 K. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science B.
