Abstract
We present ultrasonic velocity and attenuation measurements of the Sb-subst ituted compounds Yb-4(As1-xSbx)(3) x = 0, 0.12, 0.24, 0.29. The results of our experiments reveal that the one-dimensional charge ordering of Yb3+ alo ng [111] direction in Yb4As3 changes into a charge glass order in Yb-4(AS(0 .71)Sb(0.29))(3).
