Abstract
We present our recent inelastic neutron scattering results for single cryst al CeNiSn. Apart from phonon related structures appearing mainly below 30 m eV, we have observed clear indications of a crystal field excitation center ed around 30 meV. We discuss the current understanding of CeNiSn with refer ence to this new finding. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserve d.
