Abstract
We report on extensive elastic neutron scattering experiments at low temper atures to determine the wave vector of the magnetic order in CeCu6 - xAux s ingle crystals for x > 0.1. The ordering vector is observed to be distinctl y different for the alloys with lower(x = 0.2, 0.3) and higher(x = 0.5, 1.0 ) Au content. The magnetic (B, T) phase diagram for the x = 1 compound show s different structures and is in good agreement with the results obtained f rom thermodynamic measurements.
