The T greater than or equal to 1.15 K resistivity of two CeMo6S8 Chevrel si
ngle crystals is reported. It shows the occurrence of (presumably) antiferr
omagnetic (AF) order at T-N approximate to 2.1 and 2.55 K, respectively, in
agreement with previous results. The magnetoresistance, measured on sample
1 shows a drop below T-N for a held B-c approximate to 1.25 T at 1.6 K. Th
is behavior suggests the crossing from an AF state to a polarized state. It
is discussed in connection with other results reported for this compound.
