Abstract
Specific transport properties of CMR manganites can be explained by the mag netization-dependent impurity charge carrier scattering, without invoking t he Jahn-Teller effect. The giant isotope effect in them can also be explain ed without it. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
