Abstract
In a study of the properties of composite cryogenic bolometers using an amo rphous metal-semiconductor thin him as sensor, we have deduced the NbSi And erson insulator specific heat. The results are model-dependant, but agree w ith those obtained by direct measurements. The behavior observed for NbSi i s identical to that found for Si:P, suggesting that it is universal for And erson insulators. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
