Abstract
The quasi-two-dimensional conductors (PO2)(4)(WO3)(2m) show charge density wave type electronic instabilities. The average number of conduction electr ons per W atom is 2/m, decreasing with nl. We report resistivity and magnet oresistance measurements for the m = 7 compound. The upturn of resistivity at low temperature and the field dependence of the magnetoresistance are di scussed in terms of weak localization effects. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science B. V.
