Abstract
Point-contact spectroscopy has been performed on the quasi-two-dimensional superconducting misfit layer crystal (LaSe)(1.14)(NbSe2)(2) with T-c = 5.43 K in magnetic field up to 8 T. The temperature dependence of the upper cri tical held has been determined via measurements of the superconducting orde r parameter in the mixed state. We found a non-zero value of the supercondu cting order parameter at temperatures and fields above the resistive transi tion indicating that a vortex melting can exist in this system.
