Transport properties of the long double quantum wires, expected to exhibit
the effect of strong mobility enhancement in magnetic field, are investigat
ed theoretically. We treat the problem of elastic scattering on the basis o
f obtained analytical expression for the exact T matrix of scattering by a
single defect. It is shown that under conditions of the effect above, the B
orn approximation for scattering rate is not applicable and the higher orde
r corrections, corresponding to multiple scattering of electron by the same
defect, play dominating role in the momentum dissipation of carriers. (C)
