Abstract
The de Haas-van Alphen (dHvA) Effect of LaNi2Ge2, a reference material for a non-magnetic heavy electron compound CeNi2Ge2, has been investigated. Man y branches with the frequencies from 26 MG to 120 MG have been observed. Th e angular dependence of the frequencies indicates a complicated Fermi surfa ce which consists of a multi-connected surface. The cyclotron effective mas ses for each branch were also determined to be 1.2m(0)-2.7m(0). (C) 1999 Pu blished by Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
