Abstract
The de conductivity of a Brownian particle is presented in the linear-respo nse regime for the wide damping range. The analytical approximation is deri ved in terms of the two expressions of de conductivity available in certain limiting cases. Its comparison with different numerical treatments gives a good agreement in all ranges of friction. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science B.V.
