The formation of associates in liquid oligomers of the acryl series, c
ontaining various sets of associate-forming atomic groups (centers of
localized intermolecular interactions), was studied by the spin-probe
EPR technique. The results are interpreted on the basis of calculation
s performed within the framework of the model of pairwise reversible i
nteractions between the local centers, using a concept of physical net
work. In terms of this model, the associate formation is considered as
the appearance of a labile physical network with limited lifetimes ta
u of the network nodes, With decreasing temperature, the network struc
ture exhibits an evolution toward increasing lifetime and concentratio
n of the nodes. The rate of the increase is determined by the set of l
ocal centers contained in molecules of the initial oligomers.
