Under conditions of increased viscosity of glycerol-containing solutio
ns of reagents and simultaneous binding of nickel ions into a complex
compound, specific features of the reduction of nickel in porous PP ma
trix were studied. Depending on the type of matrix, the thickness of m
etallic layer in the composite was varied from 3 to 70 mu m. The compo
sites prepared on the basis of glycerol-containing solutions were char
acterized by small dimensions of metallic grains and uniform distribut
ion within the metallic layer.
