Abstract
The enthalpies of formation and dissolution of the ammonium and guanidinium picrates and dinitrobenzoate were determined by precision calorimetry. On the basis of the data obtained, the enthalpies of formation of the anions o f the acids in indefinitely diluted aqueous solutions were calculated and t he enthalpy of formation of potassium picrate was estimated.
