Undergraduate students (N = 146) completed both the Boredom Proneness Scale
(BPS) and the Procrastination Scale (PS). A one way MANOVA indicated that
individuals high in procrastination possessed significantly high overall bo
redom proneness scores. Also, high procrastinators had significantly greate
r scores on four of the five BPS subscales labeled external stimulation, in
ternal stimulation, affective responses, and perception of time.
