Abstract
The development of an attenuated measles virus vaccine gave us a tool to co mbat a disease which has ravaged the child population throughout the centur ies. Three decades later the vaccine has shown its qualities and its proble ms. Using this vaccine the WHO have decided an a measles eradication policy .
