Abstract
Four valid species of the genus Rhinogobius Gill, 1859 occur in the Mekong basin in Thailand and Laos: R. mekongianus (Pellegrin and Fang, 1940), and 3 new species, R. albimaculatus, R. lineatus, and R. taenigena. The 4 speci es can be distinguished by their color patterns and different meristic char acters.
