We study an extended version of the Anderson lattice model including t
he local repulsion between itinerant and correlated f-like electrons (
the so-called Falicov-Kimball term). We investigate the role played by
this interaction on the structure of the density of states and on the
valence transition associated with the f-electron occupation, in the
