Abstract
We introduce a correlation analysis that quantifies the-emergence of s elf-similarity observed in the magnetoconductance of a semiconductor b illiard as it undergoes the transition from a square (nominally noncha otic) to Sinai (chaotic) geometry. We explain why the observed hierarc hy of structure is limited to three scales and discuss possible ways o f increasing this number.
