Abstract
We present a review of derivatizing methods suitable for the chromatog raphy of peptides roughly divided by detection methods for the derivat izing reagents and followed by the binding site at the peptides. Usual ly applicable derivatization reactions are listed as well as highly sp ecific and selective labelling methods. To help the chemist working on chromatography we summarized in a table the details on performing ana lyses in this field. (C) 1997 Elsevier Science B.V.
