Contemporary interpretations of decision-making (DM) accepted in cogni
tive models of choices are considered. Such a models omit components r
eflected intellectual mediation of DM and personal involvement into re
solving of uncertainty. The analysis of these models has shown that so
me logical lines in cognitive and personality components of DM as well
as in formulating of the psychological hypothesis about the mechanism
s of regulation are not elaborated. Proposed interpretation of the pri
nciple of the functional regulation of intellectual decision-making is
resulted in some problems regarding ontology (sic) basic processes, b
ackground for important factors and revealing the hierarchy of the dif
ferent level mechanisms of psychological control of intellectual DM.
