Abstract
Aneurysms of the mitral-aortic interventricular fibrosa (MAIF) are exc eptionally rare complications, commonly following aortic valve endocar ditis, This report describes the angiographic findings of such an aneu rysm, in a patient who developed an uncommon symptomatology of unstabl e angina pectoris, caused by the aneurysm's expansion against the coro nary arteries. Surgical treatment is also discussed. (C) 1997 Wiley-Li ss. Inc.
