Abstract
This study was conducted to examine whether there is still a need for the university-level, introductory microcomputer applications in busin ess course based on students' perceptions of their own knowledge. Data were collected from 234 students in the summers of 1992 and 1996. Stu dents' low ratings of perceived knowledge indicated there is still a n eed for the course.
