Abstract
Relations between well-known bounds for the minimum distance of binary cyclic codes such as BCH bound (d(BCH)). HT bound (d(HT)) and new bou nds d(A), d(B) proposed recently by Shen et al. are investigated. We p rove firstly d(BCH) less than or equal to d(A) and secondly d(HT) less than or equal to d(B). We also give binary cyclic codes which satisfy d(A) less than or equal to d(HT).
