Abstract
Greenshist facies rocks which were previously united into the <<Tommot ian>> series of Riphean age have been divided into five formations and series of Early to Middle Paleozoic age. The series mentioned correla te rather well with the contemporaneous formations from the western pa rt of the Selennyakh Ridge which did not undergo metamorphism. The dev eloped subdivision scheme is successfully used in geological surveying .
