Abstract
The compound Na-7[Na subset of{((Mo2O4)-O-V)(3)(mu 2-OH)(3)H(PhPO3)4}( 2)] . 2 N2H4 . 26 H2O (formulation with respect to the aggregate in th e crystal) has been synthesized and characterized by single-crystal X- ray structure analysis (which alone does not allow the determination o f the formula), UV/Vis/NIR/IR, P-31{H-1}, H-1 and Na-23 NMR spectrosco py as well as magnetic susceptibility measurements. The compound is fo rmed under similar conditions as (NH2Me2)(6)[H-2 subset of (MO2O4)-O-V )(6)O-4(mu(2)-OH)(12)((MOO3)-O-VI)(4)]. Correspondingly, both cluster frameworks are built up by the same {((Mo2O4)-O-V)3(mu(2)-OH)(3)}(3+) units.
