Abstract
The paramagnetic susceptibility of a 2D metal with an arbitrary charge carrier density is calculated. It is shown that the temperature depen dence of the susceptibility displays a clearly manifested nonmonotonis ity upon a transition from the normal to an ''abnormal'' (also nonsupe rconducting) phase whose one-particle spectrum contains a pseudogap.
