Two types of the granitoids developed within the Baikal-Muya volcanopl
utonic belt are characterized in a comparative way. Data on absolute a
ge, geological setting, and geochemistry show that the Muya granitoid
is a type rock for the Upper Riphean Muya gabbro-tonalite-plagiogranit
e complex, so it is not reasonable to include the Nyurundukan-type par
autochthonous granitoids into its composition.
