Abstract
The chloroborane, ClB(C6F5)(2), has been investigated as a useful synt hon for the preparation of a series of amino (pentafluorophenyl)borane s. The compounds [(Me3Si)(2)NB(C6F5)(2)], 1, [(Me3Si)(H)NB(C6F5)(2)], 2, and [HN{B(C6F5)(2)}(2)], 3, synthesised and 1 has been characterise d by X-ray crystallography. (C) 1997 Elsevier Science Ltd.
