Abstract
A system of fermions on a one-dimensional lattice, subject to a weak p eriodic potential whose period is incommensurate with the lattice spac ing and satisfies a Diophantine condition, is studied. The Schwinger f unctions are obtained, and their asymptotic decay for large distances is exhibited for values of the Fermi momentum which are multiples of t he potential period.
