Abstract
A numerical error in a previous paper concerning Fe/Ag/Fe(110) multila yers is corrected for the record. This correction does not change the qualitative features of the calculations, but changes the derived valu e of the inelastic mean free path lambda of Fe LMM Auger electrons in Ag overlayers; the new Value is 1.6 +/- 0.3 nm. A reasonable value of the corresponding quantity for Ag MNN electrons in Fe is 1.1 +/- 0.2 n m. These values are compared with inelastic mean free path estimates i n the literature.
