Abstract
The intramolecular carbohydroxypalladation of 1,6-enynes in aqueous me dium with Pd(TPPTS)(2) gave 4-exomethylene-3-(1-hydroxyaryl)tetrahydro furans or 1-exomethylene-2-(1-hydroxybenzyl)cyclopentane with good to moderate yields. (C) 1997 Published by Elsevier Science Ltd.
