R. Kaula, INTEGRATING KNOWLEDGE-BASED SYSTEMS - A 3-LEVEL FRAMEWORK, International journal of computer applications in technology, 10(5-6), 1997, pp. 327-336
Knowledge-based systems have traditionally been developed separately:
This paper outlines a three-level framework called an integrated knowl
edge management architecture to integrate their separate development.
The paper explores the problems among organisational knowledge-based s
ystems and proposes their integration from an organisational perspecti
ve. The ANSI/X3/SPARC database framework is utilised to develop the in
tegrated knowledge management architecture. A prototype of the archite
cture is proposed with a sample knowledge base.
