Abstract
Different growth models in cultures of Oreochromis niloticus (L.) and Cyprinus carpio L. were compared in Pernambuco, Brazil. The Chapman-Ri chards growth model was shown to be the most appropriate for Oreochrom is niloticus, while Silva's model best expressed growth for Cyprinus c arpio.
