Abstract
The human oxyurid or pinworm, Enterobius Vermicularis, is usually foun d within the gastrointestinal tract. Worms have also been described in anatomically related organs. We report the serendipitous finding of a ctive infection of breast tissue with enterobius vermicularis in a pat ient who underwent a mastectomy for carcinoma of the breast.
