CHANGES IN STRUCTURE OF COMMUNITIES OF SOIL SPRINGTAILS (HEXAPODA, COLLEMBOLA) UNDER INDUSTRIAL-POLLUTION OF THE SOUTH-TAIGA BILBERRY PINE FORESTS

The structure and dynamics of springtail communities were studied in b ilberry pine forests in the zone of emission from an iron and steel wo rks. Specific features of changes in different parameters of springtai l populations along the pollution gradient are discussed. As the pollu tion increases, forest terricolous species of springtails are replaced with eurybiotic semiterricolous species. This gives rise to a new typ e of community, whose main parameters are stable in terms of their dyn amics over many years.
